RSK ENSR success in Midlands marked with celebratory office opening

A combined office opening and client appreciation event to be held on November 30 highlights a productive 18 months in the Midlands for RSK ENSR.

Since arriving in Derby in April 2005, the company has focused on the housing development sector, providing contaminated site investigation and remediation services to industry stalwarts such as George Wimpey, Taylor Woodrow, Rippon Homes and Concept Development. In addition, it has racked up a series of high-profile jobs such as the much-publicised Derby County Council commissioned investigation of contaminated lagoons adjacent to the Grassmere County Park ahead of a Department of Trade and Industry funded redevelopment.

Increasing workloads resulted in a move to new offices in the centrally located Pride Park in June 2006, where RSK ENSR finds itself in the centre of the business district and with easy access to East Midlands Airport.

Having established a solid business reputation in the region, broadened its client base and expanded its employees from two to nine, principal consultant and office manger Neil Hutchinson is sanguine about the fledgling team’s future.

“The Derby office was opened to provide a local centre to service our existing clients in the Midlands who had historically worked closely with the offices in Hemel Hempstead and Helsby. Over the last 18 months our clients have benefited greatly from having a local base with the backing of a multi-natural company,” he said.

“This is just the tip of the iceberg. We will be recruiting more staff and expanding our service scope here to offer more of RSK ENSR’s expertise to both existing and new clients in the coming year.”
