RSK ENSR expands workforce to almost 300 with GeoDelft assets purchaseFebruary 1The RSK ENSR Group is pleased to announce its assets purchase of Congleton-based GeoDelft Environmental, the UK division of Dutch company GeoDelft. The acquisition increases RSK ENSR’s staff to almost 300 and gives the group added expertise in the fields of asbestos consultancy, contaminated-land investigation and risk assessment. Furthermore, the agreement enables RSK ENSR to offer GeoDelft Environmental unique suite of web-based asbestos risk management tools to existing clients. As a measure of its quality, high-profile organisations such as the National Trust are currently utilising the software to assess asbestos risks across a large property portfolio and prioritise remedial actions. “We are delighted to have the GeoDelft Environmental team on board and will continue to offer all their clients a top quality service and introduce them to our wide portfolio of services,” says RSK ENSR Chairman, Dr. Alan Ryder. “We also look forward to a continued relationship with GeoDelft Netherlands which is recognised world-wide for its innovative geotechnical research. GeoDelft’s history dates back to 1934 when it began life as the non-profit Grand Technological Institute (GTI). Initial services centred on geomechanical research and the dissemination of information on behalf of the Netherlands Government following a major rail accident.
