RSK ENSR Wins Best International Business AwardJuly 12Helsby based environmental consultants RSK ENSR were proud recipients of the best international business award at the Vale Royal Business Awards last month. They were recognised for the formation of KETC (Kazakhstan Environment and Technology Centre), an innovative, forward-looking and potentially highly lucrative company that combines western management skills with local technical expertise. A presence in Kazakhstan means RSK ENSR will benefit from work arising from the vast Kashagan oil field in the Caspian Sea, one of the largest oil discoveries in recent decades. RSK ENSR has long been established in the Former Soviet Union and has operated from a permanent office in Baku, Azerbaijan since 1995. In this period they have undertaken a multitude of environmental assessments for major energy clients, including work on one of the world’s biggest energy schemes, the newly opened BTC (Baku-Tiblisi-Ceyhan) Pipeline. “We have used our Azerbaijan base to investigate the developments in the oil and gas industry throughout the Former Soviet Union. The formation of KETC represents an exciting business opportunity for RSK ENSR,” said RSK ENSR’s international director, Robert Jaques. Note to EditorsRSK ENSR – one the UK’s most qualified and experienced health, safety and environmental consultants – works across the energy, property, water, manufacturing, government, and transport sectors.
