What’s more, with in-house teams including asbestos management, site remediation, health and safety and permitting, RSK can provide everything you need to conclude the deal(s) quickly, cost-effectively and with minimal regulatory delay.

Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)

Our ESA services are tailored to specific transaction needs or to follow United States American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards. In each case, RSK assesses existing and historic site issues through methods such as public record reviews, in-depth analysis of geographic conditions, hazardous material, flood risk assessments and invasive weed evaluations. If site conditions warrant it, RSK can undertake a Phase 2 investigation (ground and groundwater sampling) and, subject to risk assessments, provide estimates and implement site monitoring and remediation programmes.

Business Systems (Environment, Health and Safety)

To complement our due diligence projects, we offer an environment, health and safety compliance auditing service. Covering company systems and/or legal compliance, these are delivered on an integrated environment, health and safety basis, combined with the ESA process, or adapted to assess risk management.

Permitting

If necessary, RSK can provide a comprehensive permitting service that encompasses Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC), Local Air Pollution Prevention and Control (LAPPC) and Emission Trading Services (ETS). In addition to due diligence-specific reviews, our specialists can prepare and submit applications in accordance with best available techniques (BAT) criteria and negotiate with regulators.

Asbestos

RSK Group’s highly experienced, independent UKAS-accredited asbestos team can undertake type 1, 2 and 3 surveys, risk assessment and management plans and removal project management.
