Community awareness is an integral part of a functional, empathetic and ethical business, so RSK does its bit wherever and whenever it can. In 2007, we had consultants educating Azerbaijani schoolchildren about local environmental issues pertaining to the oil industry, donating laptops to Cambodian schoolchildren, educating Cub Scouts about endangered species and one of our ecologists even managed to rescue a baby swan during his lunch-break. | | Influential charitable acts included the single largest donation (£2,500) of all local businesses to fund a Police Community Support Officer in Helsby (the location of our head office) and the continued sponsorship of Helsby Football Club. On a wider scale, RSK, as the main sponsor of the Ashton Hayes Going Carbon Neutral project , can take vicarious credit for communities around the world (some as far afield as Australia!) becoming inspired by the template and uniting to combat climate change. | |
