Recent project examples
- Providing full-time, seconded staff to assist Magnox Sizewell A site in their inventory, characterisation, technical assessments, management strategies, processing options, storage container reviews, BPO/BPM studies, programme development, and training of staff.
- Providing full-time, seconded staff to assist Magnox's Bradwell and Sizewell A sites in their Radiation Programme upgrades, providing technical assistance to staff engineering, overseeing the work activities of field staff, and supporting the decommissioning efforts of a fuel pond.
- Developing the environmental safety case for a proposed waste encapsulation plant at Sellafield site. Project involves the encapsulation of legacy waste that includes significantly degraded spent fuel.
- Providing contaminated land investigation, analysis and technical support to the Berkeley and Sizewell A sites.
- Implementing the use of geophysics technology on shielding walls to validate their density at the (new build) Plutonimum waste repository at Sellafield.
- Providing radiological engineering support to de-licensing, land/building re-use, risk based final survey plans, demolition plans, etc. supporting site decommissioning at Hinkley Point A site.
- Providing geophysical consultancy to the Environmental Agency (EA) as it relates to a potential geological repository for nuclear waste.
- Providing Bradwell site with environmental consulting, planning, and technical services in direct support of Grounds Investigation to support Land Quality Strategy.
- Provided radiological technical and instrument support for fuel pond characterisation at Bradwell site.
- Conducted extensive nuclear new build site investigation services at multiple sites within the UK (Confidential Clients/Locations), this includes site investigation, ecology, geophysics analysis, soil testing, etc.
- Performed characterisation and reporting of untreated, active effluents (liquid and sludge) at Berkeley site.
- Conducted an inspection and cleared site drains at Sizewell A site, including mapping and analysis of underground drain system
- Current master services agreement for EIA support for the Magnox North sites
- Current master services agreement for site investigation support at Magnox South sites
- Drilled boreholes and conducted an analysis of contaminants near soakaways at a Magnox decommissioning site
