RSK Radiological is a joint venture between RSK Group and US-based decommissioning experts Radiation Safety & Control Services (RSCS). The collaboration seeks to combine RSK’s extensive experience of providing innovative environmental, health and safety support services to the petrochemical and chemical sectors with RSCS’s rare ability to work at every stage of the nuclear facility decommissioning process.

Providing environmental risk assessment for a waste encapsulation plant (new build) proposed at Sellafield site
Providing full-time radiation protection technical support at a Magnox decommissioning site
Providing environmental risk analysis and remediation design support for Tritium in on-site groundwater at a Nuclear Facility in the
Providing full-time radioactive waste characterisation support at a Magnox decommissioning site
Current master services agreement for EIA support for the Magnox North sites
Current master services agreement for site investigation support at Magnox South sites
Drilled boreholes and conducted an analysis of contaminants near soakaways at a Magnox decommissioning site
Conducted an inspection and clearing of site drains at a Magnox decommissioning site, including mapping and analysis of underground drain system.
Conducted sample analysis of environmental samples from multiple Magnox decommissioning sites
