Stakeholder and regulatory collaboration and negotiation |
Through working for both industrial landowners and brownfield site developers, the RSK team has developed a good rapport with EA representatives and local authority EHOs throughout England, Wales and Scotland. In addition, RSK currently employs individuals that have either worked for or been seconded into the regulatory communities in England and Scotland, giving our risk assessment teams and our project managers an insider’s view of how the regulator may assess our projects. | | All RSK quantified risk assessment, project management and remedial design teams are trained in the practical application of contaminated land legislation. As a measure of our level of expertise, RSK frequently offer legislative-awareness training to our clients. RSK is widely recognised as being at the vanguard of site investigation has had its procedures for land acquisition and development adopted by the National House-Building Council to support its Land Quality initiative. We are also actively involved in research in this area in collaboration with, among others, CIRIA, the Soil Guideline Value Task Force, DEFRA's Contaminated Land Forum and the Environment Agency division dealing with the Definition of Waste. Furthermore, we have the most Specialist in Land Condition accredited staff in the UK. | |
