If you have issues with roof or wall failure, RSK's building sciences team can undertake detailed investigations. The types of defect most frequently encountered are roof leaks, wind damage, poor standards of workmanship or design and heat, air and moisture problems in new and existing buildings. Our specialists also have experience of assessing of other types of building damage, such blast or other accidental damage.
We provide fully illustrated reports with photographic records of any site opening up investigation. We can offer opinions on why performance failure has occurred and suggest suitable remedial works to eliminate the problem.
Our experienced senior consultants can provide expert witness services in situations where legal proceedings have or may be instigated. Our consultants have particular specialist knowledge of profiled metal, composite panel, fibre cement and other roof and wall cladding materials.
