Ecological input to CSH and BREEAM assessments
Building Research Establishment (BRE) Environment Assessment Method (BREEAM) and Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) assessments may require the specialist ecological input that RSK can offer. Our site visits and reporting style conform to the requirements of each stage of the assessment process, and our consultants meet the suitably qualified ecologist criteria stipulated in the BRE guidelines.
We can provide management plans to ensure that steps taken to benefit biodiversity are sustainable for at least five years post-development.
The BREEAM management plan is a site-specific landscape and habitat management plan that supports the BREEAM assessment. This method can gain clients credit for CSH, EcoHomes and other BRE building assessments, such as BREEAM Education or BREEAM Offices.
