The event is a relay, with five team members each covering 4.2 km. It forms part of the Poland Business Run: a nationwide event with participants in Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan, Katowice, Lodz, Wroclaw, Lublin and Gdansk. It combines the idea of helping others with promoting a healthy lifestyle and fun.
The Poland Business Run Foundation receives 98% of the entry fee to support amputees whose lives have changed dramatically through accident or disease. Funds raised from this year’s run will help support five individuals; you can read their stories on the Warsaw Business Run website.
With five of the eight staff based in Warsaw taking part, the run saw the RSK team of Marcin Kot, Dominik Warzec, Błażej Samel, Aleksander Śpiewak and Łukasz Warzec knock five minutes off last year’s time.
RSK senior consultant Marta Plawik comments, “RSK was so kind as to fully sponsor the team’s entry fees. This money could really help to change a life. We are all very proud of our team.”
