For the last three years, RSK has been listed in the NCE100 power list, New Civil Engineer’s annual assessment of the top 100 most influential, innovative firms operating in civil engineering today. This is the first year, however, that we have also been shortlisted in one of the accompanying awards categories, Health & Wellbeing Leader of the Year.
NCE explains the ethos behind this award: “Mental health issues are, rightly, currently the focus of a number of industry initiatives. Staff wellbeing is also gaining recognition as an important action area. This category throws light on the firms doing most in these areas while also looking to recognise those showing constant vigilance and progress in health and safety.”
RSK’s health and wellbeing initiatives, including the pedometer challenges, caught the judges’ eye and earned the company a place on this year’s shortlist.
One of ten companies shortlisted, RSK will present its entry to the judging panel in March 2019. The winners, and the top 100, will be announced at NCE’s gala awards ceremony on 30 April 2019 at The Brewery, London.
