George Tuckwell, RSK’s head of profession for geosciences, led the development of the scheme with the help of directors Gary McGuicken (geosciences) and Adam Lumber (Structural Soils). An accreditation panel appointed by the Geological Society’s Professional Committee reviewed the training scheme document and various supporting materials earlier this year. RSK’s responses to the panel’s comments were accepted and the Geological Society formally approved the training scheme on 22 October 2013.
The Geological Society’s approval of the training scheme acknowledges its quality and, thereby, RSK’s commitment to developing its employees to the highest standards. The accreditation guarantees that the training scheme will improve and maintain its quality, and that the skill sets of RSK geoscience staff will continue to expand for both individuals and the team as a whole.
