Andy, associate director and archaeology team leader, comments, “Being a member or, even better in our case, having a team composed of all members demonstrates to clients that they’re getting the best professional service possible.
“Although RSK has been registered with the IfA for several years, we also recently received the good news that RSK had passed the inspection to have its registration renewed (a necessary requirement every three years). This gives us a stamp of approval from a professional body that we are operating to the highest standards and allows us to use the IfA logo on our documentation. It is a key indicator of quality for tender submissions.”
This year’s inspection was particularly successful; the panel made several positive observations that reflect well on both the archaeology team and RSK in general, particularly noting “the enthusiasm of the team” and the “strong personal commitment of staff to outreach: all give talks and lectures, and publish”.
