Asbestos management and supervision of electricity substations, National Grid

Since 2007, RSK has managed and supervised a £6 million asbestos removal programme at three National Grid electricity substation facilities with generation capacities ranging from 400 to 132 kV.

Three full-time RSK employees, one supervisor and two laboratory analysts, were stationed at locations in Kingsnorth, which incorporated two substations, and West Burton.
