Entitled ‘RSK supports employees’ heart health and wider wellbeing through pedometer challenges’, the case study feature celebrates RSK’s commitment to supporting the cardiovascular health of its workforce during 2015’s Healthy Heart Month and its subsequent health initiatives to promote employees’ physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Of particular note, is Give a Thought to Sport Day in October 2015 and the two successful pedometer challenges in 2015 and 2016 that totalled 62,624,561 and 89,434,971 steps respectively. RSK’s latest initiative was Stress Awareness Month in April 2017.
The piece recognises RSK as an example of best business practice for taking a proactive approach to supporting its employees’ cardiovascular health and encouraging every employee to get involved, irrespective of their usual activity level. By making health and wellbeing a fun, social and inclusive activity, RSK continues to uphold its commitment to ensuring the healthy bodies and minds of its employees.
