“Construction is a complex discipline involving many parties responsible for the various aspects of any project,” organisers explained. “It is only by fully understanding the impact of what we do on others that we can develop efficiency, innovation and quality. The Expo is a chance to do this.”
Engaging in the spirit of the day, ‘Better Together’, RSK got stuck in with networking and was well-represented at its stand, which received plenty of attention.
Day one kicked off with RSK’s Toby Gibbons presenting on asbestos in soil, while Dave Jacob of RSK Geosciences impressed on day two with his talk on field screening technology. RSK Orbital’s James Maxwell was also present to wow delegates by flying the drones over the event site.

“This is the first time any major contractor has run an Expo to bring together six specific groups in the construction industry,” added Willmott Dixon organiser Marie Dobosz. “The feedback has been superb with a resounding ‘yes,’ to attending a future Expo”. Willmott Dixon hopes it will become a regular event in the construction calendar.
