The project, building a new 1-km section of railway to connect Bicester Town to Oxford on the Chiltern main line, has been shortlisted in the transportation category of The Engineer: Collaborate to Innovate Awards 2017.
RSK is one of the six partners in the project collaboration with Chiltern Railways, Network Rail, Carillion Buckingham Joint Venture, Akins and Siemens. The highly prestigious awards aim to celebrate the very best of these UK collaborations and to recognise the most inspiring and effective innovations in the engineering sector.
The award winner will be announced on 5 September at The Engineer Collaborate to Innovate Winners’ Party to be held at Ball Brothers Austin Friars restaurant in London, UK.
We hope that the project will build on its recent achievement and again be recognised as an example of successful partnership and innovation in the engineering sector.
